I’ve created this blog as part of my study for a Graduate Diploma of ICT in Education with Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, NSW. More specifically, it links to the subject - ITC 510 - Online Communities.
A primary teacher for some 30+ years, I have taught in a variety of situations from classroom teacher, relief teacher, science specialist teacher and unofficial IT co-ordinator.
I have an ever-growing interest and passion for ICT and its effective use in the classroom and for learning. I have had some contact with online collaboration, mainly through study for this course and have attempted to work wikis and blogs into my teaching with varying levels of success.
Over the next few weeks my list of categories will grow as I research and explore set tasks and activities associated with this subject and post my thoughts and ideas here.
I am hoping that this blog will be a platform for online collaborative learning across the tasks set and other areas I may get sidetracked on. I hope others will read, comment and discuss with me some of the topics and ideas I include.
