It is unfortunate that so many of the sites that I looked at have age restrictions on their use. These restrictions being for 13 years and over means that they cannot be used within a primary school setting. Placing students into the public domain is not a reasonable ask, either - particularly with respect to security. Fortunately there are alternatives within the education sector which are suitable for use with these younger students. I can see, however, how many of the listed software could be used to connect students if the need arised.
